This is a fun, casual fundraising event – the equivalent of a golf scramble a “fishing scramble”! This is not a serious competitive tournament and as such there will be no requirements as to the type of boat used. If you wish to compete, however, you must have a live well on your boat and all fish weighed in must be alive and released back into the waters of Patoka Lake.
Launch at 6:30 am or safe light
Weigh-in at 3:00 pm
Half of the entry fees will go toward supporting the County Surveyor's Association of Indiana. The remaining half will be broken down as follows:
Prizes:
1st place - 50%
2nd place - 30%
3rd place - 20%
Big Bass Entry Fee $10 a person (include with entry check or pay on site) Big Bass payout $100 sponsored by INDIANA AMERICAN WATER
Registration Information
- All participants are responsible to have a fishing license
- Payment due with form
- Registration starts one hour before event
- At least one competitor per boat must be over the age of 18
- Launch area is off limits to fishing
- Scoring of competitive event – This is a catch and release event. Five fish per boat. All fish must be 15inches or longer to be weighed. A one pound penalty for each dead fish weighed in. Tie breaker will be determined by coin flip.
- All participants must meet state requirements for boating safety
- If this event must be canceled due to weather – all proceeds will go to the County Surveyor’s Association.
- $50/per boat must be received with the registration form. Checks may be made out to the “Indiana County Surveyor’s Association” and mailed to:
